And a newbie tip. I just saw this on chromasia.com
How to create old film like b/w pictures. I use GIMP by the way.
1. Use the Hue-Saturation feature to desaturate the image.
2. Adjust the color balance to slightly enhance Red and Green midtones.
3. Walla!!! The picture..it is done.
