Mehendi

dscn5045_750

Mehendi or henna is an integral part of any Indian wedding, and since any self respecting Indian movie has to have a "shaadi" or "kalyaanam" or "Lagn" scene, there are quite a lot of songs about mehendi.

All the women should try this out. Trust this from a guy whose palms (it was a long time ago) have been mehendi-decorated too (there, I said it). Believe you me, Bride's hands and feet are covered with awesome beautifully intricate designs.

The picture above was taken near Haji-Ali. This beautiful art-piece though, wasn't hand-made. The person just applied mehendi over a pattern paper. Still looks good, doesn't it?
